Mission and Values

Community Care

Healing does not exist in a vacuum.

We need individual accountability, community support, and continuous openness to new understandings to grow our resilience. Spiritual guidance should never replace professional care when it is needed, and is only a 'piece of the puzzle' when it comes to wellness. To me, healing is a lifelong journey, not something a single services, person, or practice can guarantee you achieve. There is no perfectly healed individual.

Amethyst Insight is but another facet of my lifelong journey in understanding, practicing, and promoting Community Care. If you would like to read about my research and thoughts on community, care, and society feel free to click the link to my Literature Review below.

Curiosity and Inclusion

I believe curiosity creates room for growth and allows us to call each other into productive conversations rather than push people out with hostility and defensiveness. I strive to cultivate an affirming space where people of all identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences are welcomed with care and respect.

As a queer, BIPOC practitioner, I understand how meaningful it can be to find spaces where you don't have to explain or defend who you are.

Growth begins with asking the difficult questions. Whether examining long-held beliefs, navigating religious deconstruction, or exploring new spiritual paths, I strive to be a continuous student of those who've created and led these spaces before me.

Agency, Discernemnt, and Empowerment

I believe we are all the experts of our own lives and lived experiences, and therefore I will always encourage you to trust your own intuition and discernment above my interpretations. Know that I hope every reading leaves you feeling more connected to yourself, not more dependent on me.

Humility

Spirituality should be rooted in respect, accountability, deconstruction, and a willingness to continue learning. I am committed to learning about the histories of the spiritual traditions I engage with and approaching them with humility and respect. I strive to avoid spiritual appropriation as well as maintain respectfully informed about closed practices without participating in said practices. I value practices that prioritize accountability, repair, and healing over shame and punishment whenever possible. I believe meaningful growth comes from acknowledging harm, taking responsibility for our actions, and remaining open to learning and change.

Trauma-Informed

No matter where I am, I strive to create a trauma-informed space and provide support that emphasizes resilience, empowerment, and restoration. Never ever will a reading be about 'fixing' or 'completely healing' an individual.

Consent, Authenticity, and AI

I believe spiritual guidance should always honor consent, boundaries, and choice. I choose to have an authentic approach to spirituality that is 100% human. I do not use AI for any of my Cartomancy Readings nor my interpretations. AI is additionally not a part of Digital Report curation process, and will never be recommended as a resource from me. It is also not a part of any of my research nor education when it comes to Human Design.
